Tom Belding has over 20 years experience
in international trade, consulting and management.
He has been a successful executive, entrepreneur and
advisor. Prior to forming BELKO, he was Vice President
of Marketing for a Division of a Fortune 500 company.
He earlier held positions in international health
care at the Harvard Institute for International Development,
the U.S. Agency for International Development, and
the American Public Health Association.
Mr.
Belding did his graduate studies at Johns Hopkins
University and the University of Michigan, with Masters
Degrees in Economics, Public Health and Human Genetics.
He received international business training at the
University of Michigan School of Business, the World
Trade Institute of New York, and the Japan Export
Trade Organization in Tokyo.
He
serves as Vice Chair of the New Jersey District Export
Council of the U.S. Department of Commerce. He has
given expert testimony on international trade for
the State of New Jersey and been a guest speaker at
regional and national conferences. He has been active
in the National Association of Export Companies and
the Health Industry Distributors Association. He has
served on the Millburn, N.J. Board of Education and
the Millburn Planning Board. He is a past President
of the Rotary Club of Millburn-Short Hills, and is
a Paul Harris Fellow.
